Well, the numbers below are for guidance, as every business is different. We have however calculated some fairly conservative savings. Our methodology is outlined below for you to review and we’re happy to discuss further if you’d like to book a call.

Assumptions we have made: For this membership bracket we have used a spend level of £17.5m which splits 80/20 for direct/indirect costs.

So how does each step generate value?

STEP 1 - Collect your spend and contract data

Our first step is to guide you through a simple but often overlooked process of creating your Business Contract Register. We look at your spend and identify contract data to ensure you can track your contract renewals going forward.

Outcome: You will have a Business Contract Register for your business, identifying opportunities to cancel unused contracts and proactively manage auto-renewals.

Savings estimate: 0.5% saving on all of your spend as you gain full control over your contract register

STEP 2 - Assess your suppliers against risk & value

The next step is to guide you through a supplier assessment using risks that are important to your business along with annual spend. We then segment suppliers into different groups so you can set a specific supplier management strategy for each group.

Outcome: With a simplified Supplier Management Process you can work with your key suppliers to help your business grow.

Savings estimate: 1% saving on your top 25% of spend as you have more time to focus on key suppliers (you’ll see how you get that time in the next step)

STEP 3 - Leverage your spend, join group contracts

Next, we create your Strategic Procurement Plan. Looking at which contracts you will tender/manage yourself and which services can be migrated to our group deals. This will not only save you money but also time as we take on supplier management for you, yet you can still feedback on group supplier performance via our bespoke portal.

Outcome: Your Strategic Procurement Plan identifies when you need to engage with new suppliers or start tenders so you will have a plan to support your business going forward.

Savings estimate: 5% saving on 20% of overhead spend as you migrate to our group contracts (you can use that time to manage your direct suppliers in Step 2).

STEP 4 - Manage….everything

Our last step pulls everything together. We review your contract register with you twice a year so you can agree on which contracts you’ll cancel, tender or move to our group contracts while our Supplier Management System creates your plan for supplier managment

Outcome: With all your supplier activities simplified, standardised and structured you can now focus on your business knowing we are here to support your growth.

Savings estimate: time saving from not having to manage or tender 20% of your overhead spend each year.

STEP 5 - Bonus for founding 50 members

Depending on the membership option you select you can expect a ROI of between 5x and 12x on your membership fees.
